Forefront Recordings is a U.S.-based record label dedicated to help emerging producers share their sound with a wider audience. The label was founded by E. (Bakteria) and H. (Fiyafly) in July of 2020. After facing resistance due to the distinctive nature of their sound, they created a platform for like-minded talent. Having never met in person, they had an instant connection through their shared love for the universal language of the Drum and Bass. Foundation being set, it was quickly clear that reinforcements were needed. M. (Coalision) was first to join the team, helping to shape and refine the sonic direction they were pursuing. C. (Dace) came on soon after to take on some of the social media responsibilities, while T. (I Sed) rounded out the crew, contributing to creation across various platforms. Together, they formed what is now known as Forefront Recordings.

Staying true to pushing forward their artist and music, they gave them a platform… literally. Following their second year, they needed an outlet – Enter FM SOCIAL CLUB. This event series was the opportunity to give the label a place to present their sounds to an audience. Their home began in Huntsville, AL at an amazing local named simply “The Bar”. The Booking Manager, Lindsey Rogers, gave E., C. and El. an opportunity to show what they could bring to the table, and boy did they set a spread. With the help of Justin Reynolds, Bar Manager, they helped curate what became one of the best quarterly events in the city. They had found a home and a place for their vision to be realized. Due to some inner issues with the venue, they unfortunately had to say goodbye as the doors for The Bar closed.
